What is Reiki?
Reiki means “universal life-force energy”
A Reiki treatment can help to ease tension, reduce stress, energize and encourage the body natural recovery capacity. A Reiki session stimulates healing on all levels: physical, mental, and emotional. A consultation is pleasant, relaxing and is often utilized for personal wellness.
Reiki is a form of energy healing that has been in practice for generations. Its popularity was launched at the beginning of the 20th century when Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese scholar, began teaching his students how to perform Reiki.
Today, Reiki is used by a multitude of practitioners around the world to help the body heal and to calm the mind. The idea behind Reiki is that the core energy which surrounds us has healing capabilities, and this energy can be channelled into anyone desiring to receive healing energy. The Reiki practitioner acts as a carrier for the energy to flow through.
I am a certified Reiki Healer, Master level 3A, based in Amsterdam. I am engaged with Reiki healing for the last 6 years. I also practice Mindfulness and Chi Kung. I speak English, French and Dutch.
I offer harmonizing Reiki sessions of an hour where both sides of your body are gently treated with Reiki energy.
